(VOVworld) - President Tran Dai Quang received Wong Kan Seng, Chairman of Ascendas-Singbridge Corporation and Tang Kin Fei, Chairman of Sembcorp Group on Monday as part of his visit to Singapore.

At the meeting with the leader of Sembcorp Group, President Quang affirmed Vietnam would create the best possible conditions for the corporation to realize its plans to invest in an innovation park. Mr. Quang said Vietnam supports Sembcorp’s implementation of the turbine thermo-electric plant project and welcomes the group’s investment in recycled energy projects.

While receiving Wong Kan Seng, Chairman of Ascendas-Singbridge Corporation, President Quang said Vietnam was making an effort to build a transparent, constructive, and incorruptible government through which to develop an open investment environment, satisfying international standards and foreign investors, including those from Singapore. He said the Vietnamese government would outline specific measures, particularly in support of policies, legal corridor, and infrastructure development so that the group could operate effectively, generate more jobs for Vietnamese workers, and contribute to the socio-economic development of Vietnam.
