President receives Secretary General of Japan's Liberal Democratic Party

(VOVWORLD) -President Tran Dai Quang has urged for exchanges of visits and economic cooperation between Vietnam and Japan. 

The President made the statement at a meeting in Tokyo on Friday with Toshihiro Nikai, Secretary General of Japan's Liberal Democratic Party and President of the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance. He asked the alliance to boost cultural exchanges, people-to-people diplomacy, the Vietnam-Japan university project, and provision of qualified human resources for the country and the wider region.

 President Tran Dai Quang received Keiji Furuya, chief of the House of Representatives Steering Committee

The same day, receiving Keiji Furuya, chief of the House of Representatives Steering Committee, President Quang called for Mr. Furuya’s further attention to exchanges between the two countries’ parliaments, particularly young MPs, legislative experience sharing, and mutual support at both regional and global forums.
