President receives Vice President of the Japan’s International Friendship Exchange Council

(VOVworld) – President Tran Dai Quang on Monday received Yoshihiko Nakagaki, Vice President of Japan’s International Friendship Exchange Council and President of the Japan-Vietnam Cultural and Economic Exchange Committee.

Mr. Quang encouraged Japanese businesses to invest in Vietnam, particularly in prioritized sectors in Vietnam’s industrialization strategy, infrastructure, energy, support industries, technology transfer, and human resources development.
He said Vietnam will further improve the legal framework and policies to generate an open and stable business environment for foreign investors. Vietnam is working with Japan to carry out the 6th phase of the Vietnam-Japan Joint Initiative to improve the business environment in Vietnam. Quang said Vietnam considers the success of foreign investors its success.

Mr.Nakagaki said Japan’s ODA and businesses’ investment have contributed sizably to Vietnam’s development. He expects the Vietnamese government to continue to support Japanese businesses in the future.
