(VOVworld) – President Tran Dai Quang informed voters in Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh city, of major planned agendas of the upcoming 3rd session of the 14th National Assembly.

At a meeting with local voters on Wednesday, the President said the National Assembly will consider approving 12 bills and 3 resolutions and will debate 4 bills and issues concerning people’s livelihoods. Can Gio voters said they believe in the leadership of the Party and the accountability of the National Assembly and the government. President Quang stressed the goal of developing a green, clean, and modern district in Can Gio with a focus on marine economy and tourism. He said:“I agree with many of the voters’ opinions that we should first of all improve transport infrastructure, accelerate the construction of a bridge connecting Can Gio with Nha Be district and then another bridge connecting Binh Chanh with Nha Be. This will help change the people’s lives. At the same time, dyke system should be reinforced to prevent erosion and climate change impact.”

President Tran Dai Quang called for sustainable development, ecological conservation, and environmental protection for the district, while fully tapping into its advantages in aquaculture, and ecological and craft village tourism.
