(VOVworld)-President Tran Dai Quang has praised the development of political relations and economics, culture and defense cooperation between Vietnam and Indonesia.

At a reception for the Indonesian Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu in Hanoi on Monday, President Quang said he hoped Indonesia, Vietnam, and other ASEAN countries would work together to realize the goals of the ASEAN Community. President Quang asked the two countries’ Defense Ministries to effectively implement the signed cooperative programs. He urged Vietnamese and Indonesian law enforcement forces working at sea to increase education among fishermen and prevent them from violating territorial waters.
