(VOVworld) - President Truong Tan Sang left Hanoi on Monday for a three-day working visit to Laos at the invitation of General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President Choummaly Sayasone. The President is accompanied by Deputy Defense Minister Le Huu Duc, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung, Deputy Foreign Minister Dang Minh Khoi, and Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Viet Tan, among others. During the visit, he is scheduled to meet Lao Party and Government leaders to discuss measures to further foster the special bilateral ties and trust between the two Parties and nations. The leaders will also discuss regional and global issues of mutual concern.
