(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang, who is Head of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform, worked with the Supreme People’s Procurary to review the sector’s activities in 2014.

Mr. Sang acknowledged the procuracy sector’s performance, particularly the revision of laws in line with the 2013 Constitution. The President said criminal activity has become more complicated. Corruption and drug cases have become fewer in number but larger in scope and more sophisticatedly. President Sang said:“The public is not completely satisfied, but they have acknowledged some progress in combating corruption and minimizing injustice. We must continue to foster people’s trust in justice, the Party, and the State. The people look at actions of individuals, specific cases, and judgements.”

President Sang urged close collaboration among ministries and sectors to make clear theoretical and practical issues while revising laws to match the new Constitution to create an effective legal system.
