(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang visited former Phu Quoc prisoners in Phu Xuyen district in Hanoi on Friday.


He said that the party and state acknowledged their contributions to the revolution and asked local administrations to care more for them. He said that he hoped the war veterans would continue to set a shining example for young generations to follow. They also called on them to help local governments in party building and socio-economic development.
