Prime Minister attends meeting of investors in Nghe An
(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue and other senior officials attended of a New Year meeting with investors in Nghe An province on Sunday.

The 9th meeting was hosted by the Nghe An provincial People’s Committee and the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam and attended by 500 delegates. The annual event aimed to attract more investment into the province, which has seen a total of 800 investment projects worth 11.3 billion USD over the past 8 years. Major infrastructure facilities have been upgraded to serve investors.
Nguyen Xuan Duong, Chairman of Nghe An People’s Committee introduced investors local advantages. This year, the provinces targets to strongly improve its investment climate to attract more than 100 projects capitalized at 1.5 billion USD. Priority will be given to projects on hi-tech and supportive industry.
