(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Thursday received Korean executive S.K. Han, Managing Director of Hyundai Motors in charge of commercial vehicles.

The Prime Minister praised Hyundai’s cooperation with Vietnam’s Truong Hai Automobile Corporation to produce trucks and buses as well as Hyundai’s goal of increasing the rate of local content.

Mr. Han said South Korea will continue to help Vietnam develop its support industry and raise the proportion of local content in automobile production.

The same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc welcomed Laos Minister of Public Works and Transport Bounchan Sinthavong. Mr. Phuc said Vietnam will create favorable conditions for Laos to use Vietnam’s sea ports for its socio-economic development.
