(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc held a working session with the Ministry of Planning and Investment on measures to boost socio-economic development on Thursday.

Prime Minister Phuc said Vietnam’s economy is facing many difficulties with drought and saltwater intrusion causing a 0.3% loss in GDP. He asked the Ministry to devise measures to achieve the set 5-year targets and find solutions for the 2^nd quarter of this year.
