(VOVworld) - Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid an official visit to Vietnam from September 2-3 at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

A formal welcoming ceremony took place this morning. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc welcomed Indian Prime Minister and his delegation. After the ceremony, two Prime Ministers visited the Late President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house at the President Palace, where he was working from 1958 to 1969. Two leaders started their talks after visiting relic sites at the President Palace.

After that, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi witnessed the signing ceremony for cooperation in many fields. Press conference took place after the talks.
