(VOVworld) – On Tuesday, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with the Chairman of the State Duma Sergey Naryshkin during his ongoing visit to Russia.

They praised the development of the two countries’ comprehensive strategic partnership and parliamentary cooperation in recent years.

Prime Minister Phuc urged the two legislatures to increase coordination in the implementation of international treaties, of which Vietnam and Russia are members, including the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. He laid a wreath at the memorial monument of unknown soldiers in Red Square. He will also meet with the Chairwoman of the Federation Council.
