(VOVworld) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc welcomed newly accredited Ambassador from Germany Christian Berger in Hanoi on August 1. The PM expressed his hope that the two nations will continue facilitate bilateral cooperation in economics and trade, to raise bilateral trade to 15-20 billion USD by 2020.

He called on the German Government to provide more support for Vietnam in education and vocational training, including the Vietnam – Germany University project. The PM agreed with the ambassador’s proposal to establish the Vietnam – Germany Chamber of Commerce and Industry, saying that he will assign relevant agencies to work with the German side on the project.
