(VOVworld) - Vietnam pursues its consistent policy of respecting the development of relations with Japan as leading important partner.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc told the newly accredited Japanese Ambassador Kunio Umeda in Hanoi on Friday that Vietnam supported Japan's respective role in the world for peace, stability, cooperation and development. He asked for Japan's investment in Vietnam's green energy and high-tech projects, while encouraging more ODA funds for Vietnam. The new Ambassador pledged best efforts to promote the deep strategic partnership in all areas, especially economics, security, defense and people's exchanges.
