(VOVworld)- Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met Lai Chau provincial authorities on Friday to seek solutions to the province’s socio-conomic development.

Prime Minister Phuc urged for efforts to efficiently implement the existing plans, strengthen investment promotion, and generate revenues and jobs. He called on Lai Chau to pay more attention to education, social welfare, and help locals resettle and stable their lives after giving their land for hydro-power projects. Prime Minister Phuc also asked the Ministry of Transport to speed up key road projects that connects Hanoi, Lao Cai and Lai Chau.
