During his working session with the group on Saturday, the Prime Minister called for more restructuring and personnel work: “The government aimed to develop the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group’s sustainable growth and contribution to national development in many decades to come. Production restructuring towards better governance is an important task assigned by the Party and State.”

In 2017, the Group aimed to exploit at least more than 13 million tons of crude oil and nearly 11 billion cubic meters of gas, and better respond to oil price fluctuations.
