(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc paid Lunar New Year (Tet) visit to Quang Nam province on Monday.

During talks with local leaders, he wished congratulated Quang Nam for its drastic changes after 20 year of reestablishment. The provincial budget collection has increased from 4.3 million USD to 870 million USD. Mr. Phuc praised Quang Nam for its improved industry and services, and the people’s better living standards. He lauded local leaders and people for their past efforts: “I congratulate Quang Nam for its achievements last year and hope for the further efforts to be made to successfully implement tasks for 2017, a year full of challenges and determination.”

Visiting Quang Ngai province, the government leader shared his sympathy over losses caused by recent severe floods and praised local efforts to overcome natural disaster’s aftermath.
