(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Laos’ Foreign Minister Saleumxay Kommasith in Hanoi on Thursday.

He expressed delight at the growing special friendship and political relations between the two countries. Minister Kommasith briefed Prime Minister Phuc on the results of his talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh. They agreed to implement the two countries’ agreements and discussed preparations for a number of upcoming commemorative events including the 55^th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties and the 40^th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos friendship and cooperation agreement.
