(VOVworld)- A seminar on promoting Vietnam-Italy tourism opened at the Vittoriano National Roman Museum on Wednesday.

The event was organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Italian Ministry of Culture and Heritage and the Federturismo Tourism Association. The attendees discussed the tourism potential of the two countries and ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in tourism. A representative from Vietnam’s Vidotours said Vietnam is an emerging destination with rich natural resources and culture as well as cheap prices. A representative of Vietnam Airlines introduced incentives for Italian partners to organize tours of Vietnam. Italian delegates praised Vietnam’s tourism potential and described Italy’s experience in tourism.
