Le Tri Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee said Quang Nam is the biggest recipient of Korea’s Official Development Assistance in Vietnam, which has totaled 41 million USD. South Korea takes the lead in foreign investment in Quang Nam with 31 project worth 250 million USD. This year, the province is expected to welcome 300,000 Korean tourists.

“This is the first time a Vietnamese province has collaborated with the Korean embassy to organize an international event. We are especially keen on maintaining cultural and people-to-people exchanges with Korean localities,” Mr. Thanh said.   

The event includes the screening of popular Korean movies, art performances, and exchanges with K-Pop groups from  Dongdeok university.
