(VOVworld) – Reims City, France wants to foster economic cooperation with Vietnam and cooperate with Vietnamese cities in heritage conservation and clean agriculture and tourism development.

The statement was made by Reims Mayor Arnaud Robinet at a reception for Vietnamese Ambassador to France Nguyen Ngoc Son on the sidelines of an international dialogue themed “Reims towards Asia” taking place in Reims May 7 to 9. Mr Robinet told VOV: “Reims wishes to expand cooperation and connectivity with cities all over the world, particularly South East Asia. Vietnam has a robust economy. Therefore, we desire to share experience and expand economic cooperation with Vietnam. I think we could boost bilateral cooperation in heritage preservation, agriculture, clean economy and energy, and healthcare protection.”

Addressing the dialogue, Ambassador Son analyzed Vietnam’s open door policy, its development processment, and advantages in drawing foreign investment, including French investors.
