Participants said the Ministry’s draft of the decree should ensure sufficient resources to realize the policies on land use and credits.

Minister Nguyen Xuan Cuong said opinions gathered at the event will be used to improve the decree before submitting it is submitted to the government for approval.

He added: “Businesses are the key to creating value chains in Vietnamese agriculture. The draft decree should handle difficulties in credit access and land policies. We need to create favorable conditions and simplify administrative procedures for businesses. We also need to focus on decentralization and transparency.”
