(VOVworld) – The National Steering Committee for Enterprise Reform and Development held a meeting on Thursday to review its operation during 2013 and the first quarter of this year as well as work out tasks for the coming year.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh said that the committee had proactively coordinated with other agencies to help the government and Prime Minister adopt the proper policies on the re-organization and reform of enterprises. Ninh said that in the remaining nine months of the year, the committee would continue assisting ministries to submit proposals to the government and Prime Minister on the issuing of policies. Ministries, sectors and localities need to promulgate financial management mechanisms for state-owned enterprises and corporations. The Committee will also supervise the implementation of restructuring projects approved by the Prime Minister and assure that the equitization process will be completed on schedule.
