Revision needed to Law on IT for 4th industrial revolution

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Hung said that since the law was enacted 10 years ago, Vietnam and the IT sector have seen remarkable changes.
He added that Vietnam’s management competence, demand for IT applications, and IT knowledge have improved.
CEO of FPT Group Bui Quang Ngoc underscored the importance of encouraging state agencies to put the needs of IT applications and computerization ahead of other support policies.
Ngoc urged the Ministry of Information and Communications to make human resource development a key part of its policy to develop the IT sector.
