Romanian Prime Minister concludes Vietnam visit

(VOVworld) – Romanian Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos left Hanoi on Thursday having successfully concluded his official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. During his stay from July 11-14, he held talks with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, met with Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and President Tran Dai Quang, attended the Vietnam-Romania Business Forum, visited the Vietnam-Romania Friendship Association, and went on a field trip to Quang Ninh province.

During talks, both sides agreed to expand and diversify cooperation in economics, trade, energy, banking, agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure, information technology, science, environmental protection, climate change, tourism, and other sectors.

Leaders of the two countries supported the resolution of disputes by peaceful solutions based on international law, including the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea. They pledged to implement projects in the Greater Mekong Sub-region and Danube River within the framework of the ASEM on sustainable development.
