In an interview with the Izvestia newspaper on Monday, Mr. Grushko said no positive signals of Russia-NATO relationship have been seen since the summit in Wales in 2014. NATO decided to deploy 4 multinational battalions early next year to some Baltic countries and Poland to reinforce its Eastern region. Russia said it will respond to the move, adding that it was not in line with the NATO-Russia Founding Act signed in 1997, under which NATO is not allowed to deploy more troops to the Russian border.
