Russia to spend 1.7 billion USD on military infrastructure in 2019
(VOVWORLD) - The Russian Defense Ministry will earmark about 1.7 billion USD to construct new military facilities next year, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov said Thursday on the sidelines of the “Army 2018” defense industry forum.

He said nearly 3,500 military facilities will be put into operation in the remaining months of this year.
Ivanov added that Russia has started a 10-year program to modernize its armed forces. The “ARMY 2018” will run through Sunday near Moscow.
