Russia: US has not provided evidence of Moscow violating INF Treaty
(VOVWORLD) - The Russian Foreign Ministry said Monday that the US has not provided clear evidence that proves Russia violated the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty.

US allegations of Russia developing the 9M729 missile is based on unclear intelligence, according to the Ministry. Washington failed to identify the missile’s exact range, it added.
Last Wednesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Russia will withdraw from the INF Treaty in 6 months as a response to the US’s withdrawal. Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow has stopped following the treaty.
