Russian plane crashes: 71 onboard confirmed dead

(VOVWORLD) -A rescue team has found the black box of a Russian passenger plane that crashed near Moscow Sunday shortly after taking off from one of the city's airports.

Russia’s transportation minister said all 71 people on board were killed in the crash.  The Antonov An-148 aircraft was carrying 65 passengers and six crew members, the Russian news agency Interfax said. The Russian Emergency Ministry released a passengers list, which included three children, and no Vietnamese. Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the creation of a “special commission in connection with the plane crash” to oversee an investigation of Saratov Airlines.
