On June 22, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree to expand sanctions on Russian companies and entities. The sanctions will last at least three years and includes penalties on Russian lawmakers and top officials.

On Monday, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Moscow is ready for a meeting between President Putin and US President Donald Trump. Earlier, US national security adviser John Bolton and Russia’s Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev discussed a Trump-Putin meeting, which might be held in Helsinki. Peskov said Putin will meet Bolton on Tuesday.
