(VOVworld) - The 2016 Saigon Chamber Music Festival will be at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music from August 11 to 19, hosted by Norway’s Transposition Program and the HCM City Conservatory of Music, in association with Goethe-Institute Vietnam.


Founded in 2014, Saigon Chamber Music provides professional training for young Vietnamese musicians, letting them work with internationally acclaimed artists.
This year’s festival began with a concert called “On Wings of Song” featuring music from four centuries.
31 young artists from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Thailand, and Myanmar will play at a Young Virtuosi concert themed “Dance Away Time” at the festival’s grand finale on Thursday. The 2016 Saigon Chamber Music festival will come to Dang Nang on August 20-21.
