(VOVworld) - Saigon Corner NZ took home top prize at the first ever Food Truck Face Off in New Zealand last week.

At the competition, 14 trucks from across the North Island of New Zealand made their way to Palmerston North to battle for the right to be called the ultimate New Zealand food truck. The event featured a huge variety of food including Mexican, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian, Pacific, Sri Lankan, Italian, Vietnamese and classical favorites from the US and New Zealand. Participants had to have a focus on authentic cultural food, with a mixture of styles from traditional dishes through to natural ingredient-based menus.
