Saudi Arabia arrests princes, ex-ministers

(VOVWORLD) - Saudi Arabia’s newly formed anti-corruption commission on Sunday arrested 11 princes, 4 ministers, and dozens of former government ministers, Saudi-owned Al Arabiya television reported.

There was no official confirmation of the arrests. The arrests came soon after the commission, headed by powerful Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, was established by royal decree. The commission's goal was to preserve public money, punish corrupt people and those who exploit their positions.
