VFF President Nguyen Thien Nhan said it is essential to change practices in various fields to respond to climate change. Saving water in production and daily use were the foremost things to do. In agriculture, there should be a change from excessive water consumption to the less water reliance. At a meeting on Monday morning, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan asked the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to take synchronous measures to manage water at state, local and household levels. There should be comprehensive water management and linkage between sectors and localities to assure water supplies.
