Scores killed in Kabul suicide attack
(VOVWORLD) - 6 people were killed and 20 wounded in a suicide bomb blast in Kabul on Monday, Afghan authorities have reported.
The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Afghanistan’s Interior Ministry spokesperson Najib Danish said a blast struck in front of a high school in downtown Kabul, where demonstrators, including university students, had taken to the streets to demand the deployment of military reinforcements to two Hazara-dominated districts which have been attacked by the Taliban.
