Sculpture work honors Vietnamese icons

(VOVworld) – Four sculptures of historical Vietnamese figures are on display at the Vietnam Military History Museum.

General Ly Thuong Kiet of the Ly dynasty, General Tran Quoc Tuan of the Tran Dynasty, King Quang Trung (also known as Nguyen Hue), and the legendary General Vo Nguyen Giap are a few of these figures, whose images have been cast into statues. The project aims to honor these well-known figures of national history, while enabling the public to better understand and be proud of their forefathers’ glorious deeds, which helped to build the nation. The sculptures are on display till February 24.
