Swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien won gold in women’s 100m backstroke. Fencer Vu Thanh An won gold in men’s individual sabre. Cyclist Nguyen Thi That won gold in women’s criterium. And Wushu athlete Duong Thuy Vi won gold in women’s individual quiangshu. Wushu athlete Nguyen Quoc Khanh and swimmer Le Thi My Thao won silver medals.
Vietnam now stands 3rd in the Southeast Asian Games, behind Malaysia and Singapore.
