(VOVworld) – The Party Central Committee’s Commission on Communications and Education held a seminar on the importance of social science to the Party’s leadership in socio-economic development.


Head of the Commission, Vo Van Thuong, said apart from opportunities and advantages, Vietnam has to improve economic sustainability and competition while adjusting its economic growth model. He called on the social science sector to set out scientific grounds for national construction and defense, and to promote socialist democracy and national unity.
