(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Business’ Association in Russia on Saturday hosted a seminar in Moscow to discuss ways to promote economic cooperation among Vietnamese businesses in Russia.

The delegates said the Russian economy has been hurt by Western sanctions and embargos, and a sharp decline in prices of raw materials, which has negatively affected Vietnamese businesses. The seminar said hard times have eased, they have seen new economic opportunities including a Vietnam-Eurasia-Economic Union Free Trade Agreement, which took effect last year.
