Sen Village Festival commemorates President HCM’s birthday
(VOVWORLD) - A performance involving 700 artists has raised the curtain on the 2019 Sen Village Festival in Nghe An province marking the 129th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh.

Sen village is the birthplace of President Ho who led Vietnam’s revolution to success. The art program on Friday night featured songs praising President HCM’s life and career. Nghe An province’s Vice Chairman Le Minh Thong said:
“The festival pays tribute to President HCM and helps people better understand the leader who devoted his whole life to the nation. It also encourages us to follow President Ho’s example.”
The festival, which will run until Sunday, includes film screenings, a youth camp, a photo display, folk games, a beauty pageant, a kite flying competition, and a singing contest.
