(VOVworld) – A cruise ship, carrying nearly 330 young delegates from Japan and ASEAN countries will dock at Cat Lai port in Ho Chi Minh city on November 17.

During their five-day stay, the young guests will experience the life and culture of Vietnamese people through a homestay program with local households. After that, the ship is expected to leave Ho Chi Minh city for Yangon, Myanmar, to continue its 40-day trip to Southeast Asian nations.

The Ship for the Southeast Asian Youth Programme (SSEAYP) is a friendship activity aiming to cultivate mutual understanding between youngsters in ASEAN member nations and Japan.
