Singaporean Prime Minister to meet US, North Korean leaders ahead of Trump-Kim summit

(VOVWORLD) - Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will hold separate meetings with US President Donald Trump and North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un ahead of Trump-Kim summit on Tuesday.

Preparations for the summit have been complete. Security has been tightened at key sites since June 10. The summit, which will take place at the Capella Hotel on Singapore's Sentosa Island, is expected to kick off at 9am. High on the agenda will be the denuclearization on the Korean peninsula.

President Trump left Canada before the end of the G7 summit on Saturday to fly to Singapore. He said he will conduct a mission of peace at the summit and described the unprecedented summit a “one-time shot” at peace.
