S.Korean prosecutors want longer detention of ex-President
(VOVWORLD) - South Korean prosecutors on Tuesday proposed that the constitutional court issue another arrest warrant to extend the time to take ex-President Park Geun-hye into custody.

Ms. Park is being questioned for her role in a large-scale corruption scandal that forced her from office and caused her to be detained in March.
The prosecution agency made the suggestion at a hearing with an argument that the interrogation for witnesses can’t be completed when the first arrest warrant will expire on October 16th. According to the agency, the ex-President has rejected all accusations so further time is required to investigate the evidence.
