Slovenia and Russia promote bilateral cooperation

(VOVworld) - Russian President Vladimir Putin had a meeting with Slovenian President Borut Prahor on Saturday, in which two leaders wished to find ways to overcome hurdles to cooperation.

President Prahor emphasized that Slovenia would like to maintain Slovenian-Russian friendship to the extent possible, as Slovenia needs friends, and would like to have the opportunity to develop all of its potentials. Putin said his visit to Slovenia aimed to resolve differences between Russia and Slovenia that have long existed. It also offered an opportunity to discuss the entire spectrum of Slovenian-Russian relations, as well as Russia's relations with the EU and NATO.
