Soc Trang province to develop high-yield rice breeds and fruits

During the working session,
the Prime Minister said this 2nd meeting between government leaders,
ministries and provincial authorities over the past 6 months reflected
government interest and aimed to address local difficulties in social economic
development: “We need to have a
holistic approach in Mekong Delta region in identifying local advantages given
limited resources. Regional provinces should promote their innovation and
dynamism based on their advantages.”
The Prime Minister urged the province to uphold
food security and promote high-yield rice breeds and fruits of advantages,
while developing tourism and cultural festivals as well as renewable energy,
including wind farm.
