(VOVworld)- The Electricity Group of Vietnam (EVN) plans to build a solar power plant in Phuoc Thai commune, Ninh Phuoc district, Ninh Thuan province.

The plant with a capacity of 200 MW will have 4 factories and cover more than 400 ha. The EVN is asking Ninh Thuan province to allow it to conduct investment surveys and contribute to the design of the project to submit to relevant authorities for approval. With an expected capital of 8 trillion VND, the project is expected to begin in 2018 and the plant will come into operation in 2019.
