South Korea picks Seoul for 2032 Olympic bid
(VOVWORLD) - South Korea has chosen its capital, Seoul, for its bid to host the 2032 Summer Olympics, the Korean Sport and Olympic Committee (KSOC) said Monday.
North Korea has yet to announce its candidate city, but Pyongyang is considered a certain pick considering its infrastructure.
The two Koreas hope to co-host the 2032 Olympics. They will submit a joint letter of intent on Friday to the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, Switzerland.
