South Korea tightens security ahead Donald Trump’s visit

(VOVWORLD) - South Korean Interior Minister Kim Boo-kyum warned against violent protests of US President Donald Trump’s visit. In a statement on Monday, he said the South Korean government is ready to deal with anything and the police are on the highest-level alert.

The South Korean National Police Agency said it will keep all police forces in Seoul on their highest alert during Trump’s 2-day visit from Tuesday to Wednesday. The streets around the hotel where he is staying and the places he will visit have been made security zones and will be blocked off.
