South Korea vows diplomatic measures towards North’s denuclearization

(VOVWORLD) - South Korean President Moon Jae-in Tuesday said that his country will expand diplomatic efforts to peacefully resolve North Korea's nuclear and missile issues, vowing to prevent a war from breaking out on the Korean Peninsula.

Military action in the region can only be decided by the Republic of Korea and no one may decide to take military action without the consent of the Republic of Korea, Moon said at a ceremony marking the 72nd anniversary of South Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule.
